// Mobile Optimised Websites

As the rate of users utilising mobile devices grows, and we become more heavily dependent on accessing the web on the go from a smart phone or tablet, optimising your site should be high on your agenda. A website that isn’t responsive, can not adapt to different screen sizes providing a negative viewing experience.The old way to optimise your website used to be through a designated mobile site, yet this failed to accommodate different device and screen sizes. Responsive websites will adjust to fit the screen size regardless of the device you’re viewing the website on. From a 10.1 inch iPad Air tablet, to a 3.5 inch LG L40 mobile phone, a responsive website will be just as accessible on both devices despite the vast differences in their screen size.

// Why Does It Matter?

Google introduced a new algorithm in the month of April that determined that non responsive sites would struggle to display in search results when users are browsing from a tablet or mobile device. This means that not only are there the understandable usability difficulties of viewing a non responsive website on a smart phone, there are also severe implications for search engines. Without a designated responsive website you could be missing out on a lot of online enquiries. This is never more important than when dealing with sales, bookings or transactions online, or when investing in a digital marketing campaign. If you are paying for SEO and you do not have a responsive website then you are effectively wasting all of the campaign budget for any mobile visitors because it would be unlikely that your website would display to these users after entering a search term into their browser.

We only build responsive websites, so your site will always match any device a user views it from.

// Great For SEO

We build all of our websites as standard on a responsive framework. Building a non responsive website would be an outdated approach to the development, and would set you off on a bad foot from the offset. It would not only be poorly optimised for SEO, but would also fail to be future proofed.All of our websites are built to be SEO optimised so they’ll have the best chance of ranking from the offset. A website built on a strong SEO framework will enable you to hit the ground running with an SEO campaign, removing a lot of unnecessary set up tasks that will already have been accomplished.

// Content Management Systems

As well as being SEO optimised and responsive as default, all bSoftware websites are built on a Content Management System (CMS). A CMS will give you total control over the modification of your websites content. This includes the amendment or addition/deletion of website content (copy and imagery), pages titles, adding and deleting of pages, and adding/deleting of videos.We always choose the content management system based on the websites requirements. Each CMS will bit fit for different purposes, and more capable of providing different features, with different user interfaces on the management panel. We always use respected recognisable content management systems and these are often open source. Drupal and WordPress are two of our most common, but if you have a need for a different CMS then we will always aim to meet that need. We’ve built websites in Magento, and Joomla for example, and can also diversify to others also.
